The material as a source of innovation

Wood is noble and inspires beauty in all kinds of creations. In Traum we use this raw material in sheets of just 0.6 millimeters thick (six microns). How can something thin, fragile and brittle build such a firm and resistant product?

The answer is in the treatment we developed under a liquid resin formula. This process results in a series of special properties for the wood:

• Flexibility.
• Resistance to blows and cracks.
• It does not dry out or spoil due to humidity.
• Easy cleaning, for example, with a damp cloth.
• It keeps its tone intact over time, even if exposed to sunlight.

That’s the way we achieve the shapes of our designs and at the same time a durable and high quality products.
